LE-8517 is a modified saturated cyclic aliphatic epoxy resin system.

LH-8517 is a modified weather-resistant anhydride hardener.

Applications

Outdoor electrical insulators for medium and high voltage applications, such as insulators, transformers, and other insulation products.

Processing Methods

Conventional gravity casting process under vacuum.

Automatic pressure gelation process (APG).

Production process is adjustable according to client’s present production methods.

Properties

Two-component saturated cyclic epoxy resin system without pre-mixed fillers, liquid at room temperature.

Excellent UV resistance, excellent resistance to thermal shock, superior environmental resistance, and superior mechanical and dielectric properties.
